Heatley Finally Traded!!!

After an NHL offseason full of trade negotiations and rumors involving Senetors winger Dany Heatley (due to Heatley requesting a trade multiple times), It took nearly 3 months for the all-star to be traded, as after a full first day of workouts with the Senators at Ottawa's training camp, GM Brian Murray shipped Dany Heatley to the San Jose Sharks for a 2nd round draft pick, Milan Michalek, and Jonathan Cheechoo. Both wingers do not fill the void of "getting talent for talent" in the trade, but they do bring a lot of "potential" to the table. Cheechoo, who only scored 12 goals, was a 50 goal scorer a few years ago, and good be a good fit in Ottawa. Michalek, and his 23 goals, is still young (24 years old) and still has a Long career ahead of him. Even though the Sens did not get an equal goal scorer in return, I feel they still did benefit their team by adding more depth to their rosters, a place where they lacked last year (goal scoring throughout all 4 lines).
