Today, the official participants in the 2010 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest were named. The 4 man contest consists of Charlotte's star player (and likely all-satr) Gerald Wallace, high-flying guard Shannon Brown of the raining champion Lakers, and 2009 contestant winner, and 2-time champion 2 Robertson, who will be defending his title in Dallas this year. The forth and final spot will be decided by the winner of the "Sprite Slam Dunk-In," which will take place at halftime of the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge. Either Toronto's rookie Demar "Kid-Dynamite" DeRozan or the Clippers' Eric Gordon will be the final participant in the contest. After speculation that LeBron James would appear in this years contest, this has been confirmed to not be true. The Slam Dunk Contest and the rest of NBA's all-star weekend events can be seen on Saturday night, February 13 (8 p.m.).
