Allen Ivenson officially signed a 1-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday. Choosing to comeback to the NBA instead of heading for retirement, A.I. joins the most successful franchise he's ever played for. Expected to be bringing out the old #3, A.I. makes his return to the 76ers franchise after leaving 4 years ago. The former first-overall draft pick in the 1996 NBA daft, Iverson agreed to veterans contract worth $650 000 with no exceptions. This means the 76ers can cut Iverson at anytime, without owing him anything, if he causes any problem. The signing comes after Lou Williams was sidelined for 2 months because of injury, allowing the 34-year old to have the starting job. His debut will come Monday, December 7.
