Blake Griffin OUT

With the NBA season officially kicking off today, most fans are excited to see a variety of things... LeBron and Shaq, Celtics vs. Cavs, the battle of LA, the defending champs, and simply just for basketball to start-up again. What most fans are really excited for though is the first NBA game for first-overall draft pick, Blake Griffin. However, in recent news around the NBA, it is said that the 6'10 251 pound Power Forward will not be in the lineup for his Clippers for opening tip-off. Reports say that the LA Clippers will be without Blake Griffin for 6-8 weeks due to a knee injury. Sidelining him, and delaying the start of his highly anticipated NBA career, Griffin should be expected to return sometime in mid-December. In the meantime, that means likely both Chris Kamen and Marcus Camby can start till Griffins return. Griffin said the injury isn't to serious, and he will not be needing surgery.
