Anthony Morrow... know the name! The 24 year old, 2nd year Shooting-Guard for the Golden State Warriors is simply tearing up the count this preseason. From behind the arc, he has been shooting an outstanding 52%, and has been lights-out, draining the 3's all preseason long. Morrow, the 6-5 guard, who's often criticised for only having a jumper, has proven he can be a star in this league, and can not only shoot, but put up big numbers across the stat sheet too. This preseason, he has surpassed 30 points 3 times, and 20 points 3 times, helping his young, energetic, Golden State Warriors light up the scoreboard. Ever since his stellar break-out performance last year against the Clippers, I knew this guy would be a future stud; and he has proven to be just that. He has averaged 22 points and 3.1 rebounds this preseason. So, with the preseason coming to an end, and the start of the regular season just 4 days away, the Golden State Warriors seem to be in tip-top shape for opening night tip-off. Playing a high energy, high scoring, and a very exciting style of basketball, the Warriors look to come off a very poor season, finishing 29-43. Looking to bounce back to were they were before back in 08 (15 games above .500), they look to young stars such as Morrow, Ellis, Azubuike, Randolph, Wright, and of course, their sharpshooting rookie, Stephen Curry, who has silenced the critics this preseason showing he CAN play in the NBA (definitely a strong candidate for ROY). In my view, if the Warriors can get over their current "team issues" involving Stephen Jackson and their franchise, Monta Ellis, this Golden State squad my just have a run with the Clippers for 8th spot in the Western Conference.
Aaron's Prediction: Warriors 37-45
